Since optometry requires especial ability In both professional

are scarce
Therefore, you canno be too particular about the selection of
the man- to whom you entrust your eyes.
The professional work, the examining and measuring of your
eye defects, must be skillfully done. The mechanical part, the

Special Sermon Sunday
Probably the greatest evangelistic
meeting and the one fraught, with
the most far reaching effect in the
entire series was the service held
last night at the First Methodist
church. Dr. Mahood preached to a
crowded house on the subject of
amusements.. It was primarily a
young people's meeting, the center
section of the church having been
reserved for them and the response
of the young people was splendid.
From the .outset It was evident
that Dr. Mahood knew he was tack
ling a very delicate subject and-yet
one that1 required firm handling. In

There have been many articles
written by prominent veterinarians
on the proper method ot dehorning
cattle and devices used for the op

is always someone .who thinks he
knows it all. A man by the name
of Percy Kobbins. living near Char

had a valuable young bull of a most
ferocious nature which he desired to
have dehorned. Claiming he was an
old hand at the game, Mr. Connor in

the operation. After one horn had
been severed it was discovered that
the bovine had been choked to death.
Cannon beat it for home and Rob
