ten had been compelled to stay with
neighbors or to sleep in the barn
and that in many ways she made
life unbearable for him,

ed in the infantry July 4. 1919 and
has been stationed at Fort McDowell
Angel Island, California, sailed Oct
tober 1 1 for Siberia. . Word was re
ceived yesterday by his mother, Mrs
I. S. Hettick. stating he had arrived
at Honolulu safe. ' He was nine days
sailing this distance and will be 15
days finishing his trip to Siberia.

the time of his life and getting fine

eat for 10 cents and bananas 15
cents a dozen. He is aboard the
