FRUIT BY ADVISING ALL GROWERS
t Jn an effort to maintain the high
standard of quality in prunes which
Oregon and the Willamette vailev
in particular, 2500 letters of advice
on treatment will be sent out to the
growe: by all firms and organiza
tions affiliated with the Northwest
'Packers Association -which held a
meeting in the Commercial club
rooms yesterday.
The growers-are advised to care
fully segregate all cracked prunes
and dry them separately from the
perfect fruit. The high quality prod
uct will-then be used In filling con
tracts . and will TBus forestall at
tempts of buyers to reject fruit and
will also defeat any efforts of. com
petitors to condemn the quality of
Oregon fruit.
Contract Made Uniform.
