The Judge cites chapter 399. general
laws or Oregon for 1919. which
gives the county courts Jurisdicticn
over the traffic on the roads in
their respective couDtie.
Judge Bnshey declares that the
damage to Marion county roads last
winter because of overload and care-
! less driving caanot be estimated and
that he anticipates an. even greater
injury during the coming season un
less preventive measures are taken.
He warns against violations cf tho
act which gives much power to the
state highway coimnisfion and tho
j county courts, allowing them to do

: loads and otherwise govera traffic.
