today registered another fairly gen
eral advance, transaction- attaining
the largest proportions of any session

High grade rails were sluggish,
forfeiting tholr nominal gains at
first Indications of pressure and. a
few of the low priced transporta
tions also yielded at the end. with
coppers, which weakened on reports
of additional cuts in tie metal mar
kets. The entire list fell back In the fi
nal dealings. Sales were 85.000
chares.
The general bond market, includ
ing Liberty and foreign Issues was
firm. Total sales, par value, aggre
gated $12,875,000. Old United
tates bonds were unchanged on call.
