Turner Wants Damages
The city of Turner has filed a
complaint against Jennie J. Hall
asking that a jury make an assess
ment for damages sustained 'by the
town by reason of appropriation of
water rights involved in a. recent
suit concerning a stream passing
through Mrs. Hall's property.

Deeds made by Beulah R. Ratliff
and her husband. Levi D. Ratliff,
when the latter was ill were the sub.
ject of a suit on which Circuit Judge
Bingham yesterday gave an optslon.
Mrs. Ratliff. who was granted a di
vorce on the grounds of desertion,
was found to have agreed with her
husband that the deeds giving their
daughter. Nellie, the property were
to be kep in a safety deposit box
upon the husband's recover from
the sickness In 1913. Mrs; Ratliff
claimed that her husband in October.
J916 violated the agreement and at
empted to deliver the property. She
is 56 years old and In poor health
and asked for 11000 for her sap
port. Judge Bingham found that
she is entitled to this ihdi and the
separation, as well as her portion of
the property.
