Statesman) Mrs. W. O.i Perry re
ceived a telegram from her husband.
Lieutenant W. O. Perry last Satur
day stating that he had arrived In
New York city on his way home
from France where he has been tor
the past several months. Lieutenant
Perry had not 'been heard from for
many weeks and as the last time he
wrote he was In the flrstnine trench
es and under fire It was supposed
that he had been Injured or perhaps
killed. He has been recalled for ser
vice at home as an Instructor but as
yet does not know 'to which camp
he will be sent. Lieutenant Perry
belongs to the Signal Corps of the
service and for a number of years
before the war was stationed at a
government post In , Alaska. Ills
brother. Captain Jack Perry is also
In the same branch of the service
and is an instructor at Fort Leaven

Columbia River Shipbuilding cor
poration, was completed tonight.
