During the re rent strike of mechanics in the air plane factories at Coventry. fleet of army airplanes sflew from their aerodrome In the west or England and circled over the town, scattering through the streets thoussnds o: leaflets appealing to the strikers to return to work. .Later in the day a chaplain attached to the Naval Air Service in France flew from the front to Coventry in a seaplane, arriving with' an appeal from the men of his air squadron to the strikers to go back. The strike was settled the follow ing day.
