The article which we quote, will therefore, be of interest to a large number of persons in this vicinity. The Caledo nian, t., .-ays: A discovery has If-en made in regard to tho fa mous trotting horse Dexter, now owned bv Robert Bonner of the New York Ledger, which is destin ed to create no little stir amoni; the horse fanciers ot tins country, and at the same time take the crciht of that celebrated horse from the Hamble toman stock, -where it has always been awarded, and place it to the credit of the Morrill blood' where it btdo:ie. In short : lioxtf-r was raised in Danville, Cale donia county; Lis sire was the old French Moji-ill horse, and hi dam the Bovce mare. This, in until, is tue pedigree of this wonderful horse, as the Ktory goes. The person who has made this discovery is Cornel; un Russell, a man who came here from Kockfurd, Illinois, last year. The man ner of the discovery as we understand it, was in thiswise; Sir. Russell became impressed with the similarity of ifexter to the SlorriU stock, and by considerable correspondence and inquirv, he traced his horse back from New York to Chicago, from Chieajro to Lower Canada, thence to Concord, N.
