Almost all it contains is very good. We

articles upon consumption' which is
worthy of careful perusal, while Parton.
in his inimitable wi:y. talks to us about the

Everett Hale, for whose stories we always
anxiously wait, gratifies the readers of the
present number with an account of the
Good Natured Pendulum." All things
considered, it is the best number we have I
seen for a long time, and our lnend Bacon,
at the Postofliee. has done a good thing in
keeping up the club.

received. Every man on the coast needs

the statistics and lists of civil and military
officers, both State and National, of this
coast. A small space is devoted to the
general Government. It is what one needs
for reference almost daily.
