It rain Pood Nonsense.
Another ridiculous food fad has been
oranded by the most competent author
ities. They have dispelled the silly no
tion that one kind of food is needed for
brain, another for muscles, and still an
other for bones. A correct diet will not
only nourish a particular part of the
body, but It will sustain every other
part. Yet, however good your food may
be, its nutriment is destroyed by indi
ge9tion or dyspeyaia. You must pre
pare for their appearance or prevent
their coming by taking regular doses of
Green's August Flower, the favorite
medicine of the healthy millions. A few
doses aids digestion, stimulates the liver
to healthy action, purifies the blood, and
makes you feel buoyant and vigorous.
You can get Dr. G. C. Gieen's reliable
remedies at Blakeley's drug store. Get

Lost In gkigws; Flood.
Sealtle, Oct. 22. If strong circum
stantial evidence counts for anything it
is almost certain that Benjimin Carey,
of Astoria, and James Torey, of Mon
tana, were victims of the mad torrent
which flooded Skagway. It appears that
the two men arrived at White Horse
from down the river Thursday anil start
ed to walk to Skagway. C. Pierson was
accompanying them. Pierson stated at
Skagrcay that the trio camped on the
summit Thursday night, and late Friday
morning struck out for Skagway, follow
ing the railway track on account of the
bad condition of the trail. Pierson left
the two men warming themselves by a
tire, and walked into Skagway. When
he awoke next morning the flood was
raging. A search was made, but no
trace of the men has been found. The
damage at Porcupine was far greater
than that brought about by the flood in
August. The swollen streams went high
above the uigh-water mark and destruc
tion amounting to many thousands of
dollars followed in the wake of the flood.

"One night my brother's baby was
taken with Croup," writes Mrs. J. C.
Snider, of Crittenden, Kv., "it seemed
it wonld strangle before we could get a
doctor, so we gave it Dr. King's New
Discovery, which gave quick relief and
permanently cured it. We always keep
it in the house to protect our children
from Croup and Whooping Cough. It
cured me of a chronic bronchial trouble
t'iat no other remedy would relieve."

Of the product of this well-known brewery the United States Health
Reports for June 28, 1900, says: "A more su potior brew never entered
the labratory of the United States Health reports. It is absolutely devoid
of the slightest trace of adulteration, but on the other band is composed of
the best of malt and choicest of hops. Its tonic qualities are of the high
est and it can be used with the greatest benefit and satisfaction by old and
young. Its use can conscientiously be prescribed by the physicians with
the cersainty that a better, purer or more wholesome beverage could not
possibly be found." .
