Death From Freezing at Nfiuifi.
Seattlk, April 23 Partial confirma
tion of the rumored deaths by freezing
at Nome were received today. The Nome
Digger of January 30th gives full ac
counts of a terrible blizzard. Dr. Pel ton,
of Oakland, was found on the trail frozen
to death. Sixteen men and women were
foond huddled together in a cabin on
Piltitim river partially frozen and
maimed. The bodies of Alexander Stowe,
ur. w. p. JJaum and Dr. lam were
