The notice employed 52 clerks at a total cost of $10,120, or an average of $'4 80 per day each. The senate employed 41 clerks, at a total cost of $0039 50, or an average of fl 05 per day each. There were also emoloved 40 mint clerks, at a total cost of $5240 50, or an average of $3 28 per day each.
