tion's followers met here today to nomi
nate a city ticket. One of the leaders ex
pressed his belief that they should not
enter politics at this time and Homebody
demanded that he bo thrown out of the
window. This, and other hostile demon
strationd, split the convention, half of
which organixed a mass meeting, and
nominated a candidate for mayor.
