Representative Grace renews his ef iort to pass a law to punish the poison ing of domestic animals. He had the same bill in the house two years ago. The bill is brief and makes the placing -out of poisons where the same is liable to be eaten by horses, cattle, siieep, hogs or other domestic animals, a misdemean or, punishable by a heavy line or im prisonment. The fine prescribed ranues from $100 to $1000 and the imprisonment from one to five years.
