Mr. Kreft was born in Germany fifty two years ago. He had been a resident of The Dallee for nearly twenty years, where he followed the trade of painter, and for several years was senior mem ber of the firm of Kreft & Co., which was succeeded by the present firm of D. W. Vause & Co.
