Portland, Dec. 16. The trial of Frank E. McDaniel, for the murder of Claire Adelaide Fitch, was finished to night and at 11 o'clock the case was given to the jury. Each side occupied four hours in the argument today, and Judge George de livered an exhaustive charge to the jury. At midnight the jury was locked up and instructions given the foreman to seal tho verdict if the jury should agrees before morning.
