    THE OLD WAY
Of Treating Dyspepsia and Indigestion
by Dieting a Dangerous and
Useless One.
Ail Excellent Combination.
The pleasant method ami beneficial
effects of tiie well lenown remedy,
SvntlP ok Tins, manufactured by the
C.vmfoksia Fio Svnup Co., illustrate
the value of obtaining the liquid laxa
tive principles of plants known to be
medicinally laxative and presenting'
them in the form most refreshing to the
taste and acceptable to the system. It
is the one perfect (strengthening laxa
tive, cleansing the system effectually,
dispelling colds, headaches and fevers
gently yet promptly and enabling one
to overcome habitual constipation per
manently. Its perfect freedom from
every oujectionable quality and sub
stance, and its acting on the kidneys,
liver and bowels, without weakening
or irritating them, make it the ideal
.laxative.
In the process of manufacturing figs
are used, as they are pleasant to the
tasts. but the medicinal qualities of the
Tetiedy are obtained from senna and
other aromatic plants, by a method
"known to the California Fig SYr.ur
Co. only. In order to get its beneficial
effects and to avoid imitations, please

We eay the old way, but really it is a
very common one at the present time
and many dyspeptics and physicians as
well consider the first step to take in
attempting to cure indigestion is to diet,
either by selecting certain foods and re
jecting others or to greatly diminish
the quantity usually taken; in other
worda the starvation plan is supposed by
many to be the first essential.
The almost cjrtain failure of the
starvation cure has been proven time
and again, but still the moment dyspep
sia makes its appearance a course of
dieting is at once advised.
All t his is radically wrong. It is foolish
and unscientific to recommend dieting
to a man suffering from dyspepsia, be
cause indigestion itself starves every
organ, every nerve and every fibre in the
body.
What the dyspeptic wants is abundant
nutrition, which means plenty of good,
wholesome well-cooked lood,and some
thing to assist tho weak stomach to di
gest it. This is exactly tho pnrposo (or
which Stuart's Dyspepsia Tablets are
adauted and this is the method by which
they cure the worst cases of dyspepsia;
in other words tho patient eats plenty
of wholesome fcod and Stuart's Dys
pepsia Tablets digests it for him. In
this way the system is nourished and the
overworked stomach rested, because the
tablets will digest the food whether the
stomach works or not. One of these
tablets will digest 3,000 grains of meat
or eirgs.
Your druggist will tell vou that
Stuart's Tablets is the purest and safest
remedy for stomach troubles and every
trial makes one more friend for this ex
cellent preparation. Sold at oO cents
for full eized package at all drug stores.
