The water commission met at the re corder's office last evening, at 8 o'clock, with the following present: Randall, BoltOD, Crossen, Fish, Phirman and Seufert, with Mr. Seufert, president of the board, presiding. Seufert, of the committee heretofore appo:nted to obtain re-rating of - in' eurance in the city on account of the extra facilities for preventing fire, re ported adversely. Ordered that A. Keller be charged $4 per month for extra supply of water to run a new motor just put in. On the application cf . A. Bitchier for water for use in his brewery, it was ordered that a rent of $150 a year be charged for the same. The commissioners decided that the price of water for running the various electric fanE in the city be advanced from $1.25 to $2.00 per month. To avoid further annoyance to the .cemmisaion regarding the supply of j-s-ater. in tenement houses, it was or 'dered that where more than one Yftinily occupies the same 'building, ' separate pipes be placed in each apart ' ment, thus making it possible to turn -off the. supply of one tenant without .molesting that of the others. 3t was agreed to supply Odd Fellows 'TSOinetery with water at the rate of $35 a year.
