    THE EXCELLENCE OF,SYBUP OF FIGS
is due not only to' the originality and
simplicity of the combination, but also
to the care and skill with which "it is
manufactured by scientific processes
known to the California Fig Syrup
Co. only, and we wish to impress upon
all the importance of purchasing the
true and original remedy. As the
genuine Syrup of Fig's is manufactured
by the California Fig Sybup Co.
only, a knowledge of that fact will
assist one in avoiding1 the worthless
imitations manufactured by other pal
ties. The high standing1 of the Cali
fornia Fia Sykcp Co. with the medi
, cal profession, and the satisfaction
which the genuine Syrup of Figs has
. given to millions of families, makes
the name of the Company a guaranty
of the excellence of its remedy. It is
far in advance of all other laxatives,
as it acts on the kidneys, liver and
bowels without irritating- or weaken
ing' them, and it does not gripe nor
nauseate. In order to get its beneficial
effects, please remember the name of
the Company

Mr. 5. E. Lilly, a prominent citizen

In telling of it he says : "I was taken
with typhoid fever, that ran into pneu

was so weak I couldn't even sit up in
bed. Nothing helped me. I 'expected
to soon die of consumption, when I
heard oi Dr. King's New Discovery.
One bottle gave great relief. I con
tinued to use it, and now am well and
strong. I can't say too much in its
praise." This marvellous medicine is

"I have just recovered from the sec
ond attack of La Grippe this year," says
Mr. Jas. A. Jones, publisher of the
Leader, Mexia, Texas. "In the latter
case X used Chamberlain's Cough Rem
edy, and I think with considerable suc
cess, only being in bed a little over two
days against ten days for tbe former at
tack. The eecond attack I am satisfied
would have been equally as bad as the
first but for the use of this remedy as 1
had to go to bed in about six hours after
being 'struck' with it, while in tbe first
case I was able to attend to business
about two days before getting 'down.'
