TIE EICEUENCE OF SY8CP OF FIGS
' is due not only to the originality and
simplicity of the combination, but also
to the care and skill with which it is
manufactured by scientific processes
known to the California Fio Syrup
Co. only, and we wish to impress upon
all the importance of purchasing the
true and original remedy. As the
genuine Syrup of Figs is manufactured
by the California Fio Syruf Co.
only, a knowledge of that fact will
assist one in avoiding the worthless
imitations manufactured by other pat
ties. The high standing of the Cali
fornia Fri Sykup Co. with the medi
cal profession, and the satisfaction
which the genuine Syrup of Figs has
given to millions of families, makes
the name of the Company a guaranty
of the excellence of its remedy. It is
far in advance of all other laxatives,
as it acts on the kidneys, liver and
bowels without irritating or weaken
ing them, and it does not gripe nor
nauseate. In order to get its beneficial''
effects, please remember the name of
the Company

I am very pleased to state that since
I took - agency of Chamberlain's
medicines e sale has been very large
more especially of the Cough Remedy
In two y h r8 I have sold more ot this
particular remedy than of all other
makes for the previous fiye years. As
to its efficacy, I have been informed by
scores of person3 of the good results they
have rec - v d from it, and know its
value from the use of it in my own house
hold. It so pleaeant to take that we
have to t lace the bottle beyond the

A Sure Sign of Croup.
Hoareeness in a child that is subject
to croup is a sure indication of the ap
proach of the disease. If Chamberlain's
Cough Remedy is given as soon as the
child becomes hoarse, or even after the
croupy cough bas appeared, it will pre
vent the attack. Many mothers who
have croupy children always keep this
remedy at hand and find that it saves
them much trouble and worry. It can
always be depended upon and ia pleasant
to take. For sale by Blakelev & Hough

the principle hitherto so greatly desired has at
last been achieved, that of firmly and constantly hold
ing the rupture with a gentle hand-like pressure.
It docs not pass around the hip like other trusses,
but over the bips, the Bilver wire lying in the hollow of
sidp, thereby allowing the free movement of the hips
and limbs, allowing the wearer to stride out freely, and
doing away with the fear and dread that something
will go wrong that usually attends the wearing of other
trusses.
Its lightness is featherweight In comparison with
other trusses. It is so livht the wearer scarcely knows
he has anything on, and this is a (treat comfort, enab
ling the wearer to forget his ailments.
