Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Kuck of Rock
port, Iowa, who have been visiting Mr.
Kuck'a brother, H. L,. Kuck of this city,
will leave for their home this evening.

Hollow ranch yesterday and left for
Hood River cn the Dalles City this

Captain Whitehead, of Portia-id, Las
accepted a position as mate on the
steamer Dalles City in place of Captain
Alden who will be transferred to the In
land tlver.
