THE E.CRLENCS OF SYfiUP OF FIGS
is due not only to the originality and
simplicity of the combination, but also
to the care and skill with which it is
manufactured by scientific processes
known to the California Fig Svnnr
Co. only, and we wish to impress upon
nil the importance of purchashiR' the
true and original remedy. As the
genuine Syrup of Figs is manufactured
by the CALiroKxiA Fig Svkut Co.
only, a knowledge of that fact will
assist one in avoiding the worthless
imitations manufactured by other pa
ties. The high standing of the Caij
ronxiA Fig Svieur Co. with the medi
cal profession, and the satisfaction
which the genuine Syrup of Figs has
given to rniilions of families, makes
the name of the Company a guaranty
of the excellence of its remedy. It i
iar in advance of all other laxatives,
as it acts on the kidneys, liver and
bowels without irritating or weaken
ing them, and it does not gripe nor
nauseate. In order to pet its beneficial
effects, please remember the name of
the Company

Bad management keeps more people
in hard circumstances than any other
one cause. To be successful one must
look ahead and plan ahead eo that when

little forethought will also save much
expense and valuable time. A prudent
and careful man will keep a bottle of

for a doctor and have a big doctor bill to
pay, besides. One pays 25 cents ; the

then wonders why his neighbor ie get
