throughout the Luke Superior region and
in Western mining districts, while tem
porarily insane from illness, jumped
into one of the Lake Superior Mining
Compuny's shafts yesterday afternoon,
falling 444 feet, and waa instantly killed.

found dead in a refrigerator car today.
Death resulted by gas from a fire built
with coal. Six men, supposed to be
tramps, entered the car last night, clos
ing the door behind them. Two eecaped
