The gov ernment has informed the ministers of the powers verbally that following the recall from Crete of Colonel Yassos, '2b officers and two companies of troops, the gradual withdrawal of troops from the uland of Crete will take place. After a brief stay, the powers will offer to me diate between Greece and Turkey. The powers will insist, however, that Greece shall confide her interest unreservedly to their hands.
