night trom a visit with relatives in La
fayette. Mrs. Dysart arrived from Centralis at
noon today, to attends the funeral of her
sister, Pearl Butler. Mr. Dysart accom
panied Iter.
Judge Bradshaw ieaves for Condon to
morrow to open the spring term of court.
He will be away probably a week.
Captain O. W. Hosford of the steamer
lone came up on the Regulator last
night and returned to Portland on the
local this afternoon.
Mrs. W. Ketchum went to Portland
Wednesday mornimr, and will return
tomorrow, accompanied by Miss Carrie
Ketchum, who lias spent the winter in
that city.

lanes or public places of this city without

thereof stamped or engraved on the
collar upon such dog, shall upon convic
tion thereof before the recorder, be sub
ject to a line of not less than sfo nor
more than $50, or imprisonment for not
