V8COR
"Nearly forty yeai.s ago, after
some weeks of sickness, my hair
turned jrray and began falling out
so rapidly 'that 1 waft threatened
with immediate baldness. Hearing
Ayer's Hair Vigor highly spoken of,
1 "commenced using this prcpara-
tion, and waa so well satisfied with
the result that I have never tried
Jiny other kind of dressing. It stop
ped the hair from falling out, stimu
lated a new growth of hair, and kept
the scalp free from dandruff. Only
an occasional application is now
needed to keep my hair of good,
natural color. I never hesitate to
recommend any of Ayer's medicines
to my friends." Mrs.II.M. IIaigiit,

Ayer's Saraaparilla enjoys the extra
ordinary distinction of having been the
only blood purifier allowed on exhibit at
the world's fair, Chicago. Manufact
urers of other sareaparillas sought by
every means' to obtain a showing of their
goods, but they were all turned away
under the application of the rule for
bidding the entry of patent medicines
and nostrums. The decision of the
world's fair authorities in tavor of Ayer's
Saraaparilla was in effect as follows:
"Ayer's Saraaparilla Is not a patent
medicine. It does not belong to the
list of nostrums. It is here on its

Redaction in Bailroad fares. -As
there will be numerous requests
for reduced rates on account of political
meetings during the coming contest, it
baa been decided that in order to treat
all parties alike, a one fare rate will be
made by the O. R. & S. Co. tor various
meetings of this character.
This of course is intended only for oc
casions where there is sufficient number
to justify a reduction in rates. This is
done so that there wilJ be no partiality
in favor of any one party.

. ,. . GERMAN.
The undersigned desires to oiganiz a class in
German. Every American citizen who can af
ford both time and expense ought to be master
of at least two languages. The German language
has- many advantages over modern languages on
account of her profound literature in all branch

first day of September. The class will meet two
or three times a week in tbe evening or when
most convenient to the npils. Rapid progress
guaranteed to those who will get down to earn
