    TURNING GRAY

WITH BALDNESS
The Sanger is Averted by Using
AVER'S
HAIR
VIGOR
"Nearly forty years ago, after
some weeks of sickness, my hair
turned gray and began falling out
so rapidly that I was threatened
with immediate baldness. Hearing
Ayer's Hair Vigor highly spoken of,
I commenced using this prepara-
tion, and was so well satisfied with
the result that I have never tried
any other kind of dressing. It stop
ped the hair from falling out, stimu
lated a new growth of hair, and kept
the scalp free from dandruff. Only
an occasional application is now
needed to keep my hair of good,
natural color. I never hesitate to
recommend anv of Ayer's medicines
to my friends." Mrs: II. M. HaighT,

"It is with pleasure 1 tell you that by
one day's use of Chamberlain's Cough
remedy I was relieved of a very bad
cold. My head was completely stopped
up and I could not sleep at night. I can
recommend this remedy." A cold nearly
always starts in the head and afterwards
extends to the1 throat and lungs. By
using this remedy freely as soon as the
cold has been contracted it will cure the
cold at once and prevent it from extend
ing to the longs. -
In the fall of 1893 a son of Mr. T. A.
McFarland, a prominent merchant of
Live Oak, Sutter county, Calif., was
taken with a very heavy cold. The
pains in his chest were so seyere that he
had' spasms and was threatened with
pneumonia. His father gave him sev
eral large doses of Chamberlain's Cough
Remedy, which broke up the cough and
cured him. Mr. McFarland says when
ever bis children have croup he invari
ably gives them Chamberlain's Cough
Remedy and it always cures them. He
considers it the best cough remedy in
the market. For . sale by Blakeley s
