' ' . - ' ' ;
"For five years. I suffered untold misery
from muscular rheumatism. I tried every
knowuv remedy, consulted the best physi
cians, visited Hot Springs, Ari three times,
spending 81000 there, besides doctors' bills;
lut could obtain only temporary relief. My
flesh was wasted away so that I weighed
only ninety-three pounds; my left arm and
leg were drawn out of shape, the muscles
being twisted tip in knots. I was nnable to
dress myself, except wttn assistance, and
could only hobble about by using a cane. I
had 1:0 appetite, and was assured, by the
doctors, that I could not live. The pains, at
times, were so awful, that I could procure
reiki only by means of hypodermic Injec
tions of morphine. I hul my limbs bandaged
in clay, in sulphur, in poultices; but these
pave only temporary relief. After trying
everything, and siilTi'iing the most awful
torti:res, I begM.11.to take Ayer's Sarsaparilla.
inside of two months, I was able to walk
without a cane. In three months, my limbs
began to strengthen, and in the course of a
year. I was cured. My weight has Increased
to iur pounds, and I am now able to do my
full day's work as a railroad blacksmith." :

have no hesitation in recommending Dr.
King's New Diecovery, as the results
were almost marvelous :n the case of my
wife. While I was pastor of the Baptist
Church at River Junction she was
brought down with Pneumonia succeed
ing La Grippe. Terrible ' paroxysms of
coughing would last hours w'th little in

The readers of this paper will be
pleased to learn that there laast
one dreaded disease that science has
been able to cure in all its stage?, and
that is Catarrh. Hall's Catarrh Cure is
the only positive cure known to the
medical fraternity. Catarrh being a
constitutional disease, requires a consti
tutional treatment. Hall's Catarrh
Cure is taken internally, acting directly
ifpon the blood and mucous surfaces of
the system, thereby destroying the foun-.
dation of the disease, and giving the
patient strength by building up the con
stitution and assisting nature in doing
its work. The proprietors liave so much
faith in its curative powers, that they
offer One Hundred Dollars for any case
.that it fails to cure. Send for list of
testimonials. Addrees:
