C. H. King, Water Valley, Miss., cored by
Ayer's Sarsapariiia
"For ftvo years, I suffered untold misery
from muscular rheumatism. I tried every
known remedy, consulted the best physi
cians, visited Hot Springs, Ark!, three times,
spending $1000 there, hesides doctors' bills;
but could obtain only temporary relief. My
flesh was wasted away so that I weighed
only ninety-three pounds ; my left nrm and
leg were drawn out of shape, the muscles
5
being twisted up to knots. I was unable to
dress myself, except with assistance, and
could only hobble about by using a cane. I
bad no appetite, and was assured, by the
doctors, that I could not live. The pains, at
times, were so awful, that I could procure
relict only by means of hypodermic injec
tions of morphine. I had my limbs bandaged
In clay, in sulphur, in poultices; but these
gave only temporary relief. After trying
everything, and suffering the most awful
tortures, I began to take Ayer's Sarsapariiia,
Inside, of two months, I was able to walk
without a cane. In three months, my limbs
began to strengthen, and in the course of a
year, I was cured. My weight has increased
to ICS pounds, and I am now able to do my
full day's work as a railroad blacksmith."

It is the eame old story and yet con

"We have used it in our family for eight
years and find it the best medicine we
ever used. We think there is no such
medicine as Simmons Liver Regulator."

Ayer's Sarsapariiia enjoys the extra -"
ordinary distinction of having been the
only blood purifier allowed on exhibit at
" the world's fair, Chicago. Manufact
': rxrers of other sarsapartllas sought by
dvery means to obtain a showing of their
goods, but they were all turned away
under the application of the rule for
bidding the entry of patent medicines
and nostrums. The decision of the
world's fair authorities iniavor of Ayer's
Sarsapariiia was in effect as follows:
"Ayer's Sarsapariiia is not a patent
medicine. It does not belong to the
list of nostrums. It is here on its
merits. "
