Cherry
Pectoral
A PREACHER'S EXPERIENCE.
"Three months ago, I took a vio
lent cold which resulted in an attack
of acute bronchitis. I put niyself
under medieal treatment, and at the
end of two months was no" better.
I found it very difficult to preach,
and concluded to try Ayer's Cherry
Pectoral. The first bottle gave me
great relief ; the second, which I am
now taking, has relieved me almost
entirely of all unpleasant symptoms,
i and I feel sure that one or two bot
tles more will effect a permanent
- cure. To all ministers suffering from
- throat troubles, I recommend Ayer'a
Cherry Pectoral." E. M. Brawley,

The readers of this paper will be
pleased to learn that there is at least one
dreaded disease that science has been
able to care in all its stages and that is
Catarrh. Hall's Catarrh Cure is the
only postive cure now known to the
medical fraternity. Catarrh being a
constitutional treatment. Hall's Ca
tarrh Cure is taken internally, acting
directly upon the blood and mucous sur
faces of the system, thereby destroying
the foundation of the disease, and giv
ing the patient strength by building np
the constitution and assisting nature in
doing its work. The proprietors have so
much faith in its curative powers, that
they offer One Hundred Dollars for any
case that it fails to cure. Send for list

Marvelous Results.
"From a letter written by Kev. J Gun
dertuan, of Dimondale, Mich., we are
permitted to make this extract; "I
have no hesitation in recommending Dr.
King's New Discovery, as the results
were almost marvelous in the case of my
wife. While I was pastor of the Baptist
Church at Kiver Junction she was
brought down with Pneumonia succeed
ing La Grippe. Terrible paroxysms of
- coughing would last hours with little in
terruption and it seemed aa if she could
not survive them. A mend recom
mended Dr. King's New Discovery ; it
was quick in its work and nighlv satis
factory in results." Trial bottles free at
Blakeley & Houghton, Druggists.
"Mahara's Original Colored Min
strels," was side-tracked at this point,
and shortly thereafter we were treated
to some fine music by the colored band
on parade. The sale of seals became
. brisk and at the hour of the opening of
the evening performance Battery Hall
was packed to the doors. To say
that the entertainment came up to
expectations but mildly expresses the
feelings of the audience, for, from etart
to' fiuisb they were kept iu a state of
hearty good humor, and accorded the
colored artists rounds of applause.

Mrs. W. B. Meek, who resides at
. Camptonville. Cal., says her daughter
was for several years troubled at times
with severe cramps in the stomach, and
wouid be in such agony that it was nec
essary to call in u physician. Having
read about Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera
and Diarrhoea Remedy she concluded to
try it. She found that it always gave
. prompt relief. It was seldom necessary
" to give the second dose. "It has not
only saved us lots of worry and time,
she says, "but also doctor bills. It is
my opinion that every family should
have a bottle of this remedy in the
house." For sale by Blakeley & Hongh-

Electric Hitters. -
Electric Bitters is a medicine suited
for any season, but perhaps more gener
ally needed in Spring, when the languid
exeauated feeling prevails, when liver
ia torpid and sluggish and the need of a
tonic and alternate is felt. A prompt
use of this medicine has often averted
long and perhaps fatal bilious fevers.
No medicine will act more surely in
counteracting and freeing the malarial
poison. Headache, Indigestion , Consti
pation, Dizziness yield to Electric Bit
ters. Only fifty - cents per bottle at
Blakeley & Houghton Druggists.

There are so many accidents to live
stock whicn cause delay and loss to the
farmer in his work. In a large number
of instances the -delay would be but
trifling if a remedy was promptly applied.

The cure of Rheumatism has often
taxed medical skill, but it's prevention
has been very easy by an occasional use
of Simmons Liver Regulator. It keeps
the liver well regulated, and the system
free from poison. Therein is the secret
of health. "I have used it for years for
Indigestion and Constipation, and also
found it gives one relief from a touch of
Rheumatism." N. Hughes, Lordsburg,
