NOT A SICK DAY For Over Thirty Years! besult or versa AYER'SPILLS "Ayer's Cathartic Pills for over thirty years have kept me in good health, never having had a sick day in all that time. Before I was twenty I suffered almost continually as a result of con stipation from dyspepsia, headaches, neuralgia, or boils and other eruptive diseases. "When I became convinced 8 wk U 'f' that nine-tenths of my troubles were caused by constipation, I began the use of Ayer's Pills, with the most satisfac tory results, never having a single attack that did not readily yield to this remedy. My wife, who had been an invalid for years, also began to use Ayer's Pills, and her health was quickly restored. "With my children I had no ticed that nearly all their ailments were preceded by constipation, and I soon had the pleasure of knowing that with children as with parents, Ayer's Pills, if taken in season, avert all danger of sickness." There is more Catarrh in this section of the country than all other diseases put together, and until the last few years was supposed to be incurable. For a great many years doctors pro nounced it a local disease, and prescrib ed local remedies, and by constantly failing to cure with local treatment, pro nounced it incurable. - Science has proven catarrh to be a constitutional disease and therefore requires constitu tional treatment. Hall's Catarrh Cure, manufactured by F. J. Cheney & Co., Toledo, Ohio, is the only constitutional cure on the market. It is taken inter nally in doses from 10 drops to a tea spoonful. It acts directly on the blood mucous surfaces of the system. They offer one hundred dollars for any case it fails to cure. Send for circulars and tes timonials. Address. F. J. Attest: II. J. Maikb, ... J.. S. Schenck, Pres. Sec'y Pro. Tem. Subscribe for Thjr Chronicle. of all cases of consumption can, if taken In the earlier stapes of the disease, be cured. This may seem like a bold assertion to those familiar only with the means gener ally in use for its treatment ; as, nasty cod liver oil and its filthy emulsions, extract of malt, whiskey, different preparations of hypophosphites and such like palliatives. Although by many believed to be incura ble, there i3 the evidence of hundreds of living witnesses to the fact that, in all its earlier stages, consumption is a curable disease. Not every case, but a large per centage of cases, and we believe, fully gS percent, are cured by Dr. Pierce's Golden Medical Discovery, even after the disease has progressed so far as to induce repeated bleedings from the lungs, severe lingering cough with copious expectoration (includ ing tubercular matter), great loss of flesh and extreme emaciation and weakness. Do you doubt that hundreds of such cases reported to us as cured by " Golden Med-, ical Discovery " were genuine cases of that dread and fatal disease ? You need not take our word for it. They have, in nearly every instance, been so pronounced by the best and most experienced home physicians, who have no interest whatever in mis representing them, and who were -often strongly prejudiced and advised against a trial of 'Golden Medical Discovery," but who have been forced to confess that it surpasses, in curative power over this fatal malady, all other medicines with which they are acquainted. Nasty cod liver oil and its filthy "emulsions" and mixtures, had been tried in nearly all these cases and had either utterly tailed to Dene fit, or had only seemed to benefit a little for a short time. Extract of malt, whiskey, and various preparations of the hypophos phites had also been faithfully tried in vain. - The photographs of a large number of those cured of consumption, bronchitis, lingering coughs, asthma, chronic nasal catarrh and kindred maladies, have been skillfully reproduced in a book of 160 pages which will be mailed to you, on re ceipt of address and six cents in stamps. You can then write those cured and learn their experience. Address for Book, WORLD'S DlSPENSART Medical Association, Buffalo, N. Y. None But Ayer'a at the World Fair. Ayer's Sarsaparilla enjoys the extra ordinary distinction of having been the only blood purifier allowed an exhibit at the World's Fair,Chicago. Manu facturers of other sarsaparilla sought by every means to obtain a showing of their goods, but they were- all turned away under the application of the rule fore bidding the entry of patent medicines and nostrums. The. decision of the World's fair authorities in favor of Ayer's Sarsaparilla was in effect as fol lows: "Ayer's Sarsaparilla is not a patent medicine. It does not belong to the list of nostrums. It is here on its merits." Mr. A. A. Snyder, Supt.
