Editor Chronicle: Wishing to let you know The Dalles is "in it," as it always has been, we will make the aieent of Mt. Adams with the Mazamas ; that is, if they can walk fast enough to keep up with ns. We will leave here for the timber line in the morning and then go up the next day. There are probably altogether about 100 people at the snow line, but don't suppose there will be over one-third make it. There is quite a delegation from Hood River and the ladies all wear bloomers about fifteen of them. Several are from Pen dleton, Tacoma and Corvallis. . Please Bend us a paper once year. Trilby Camp.
