The readers of this paper will be
pleased to learn that there is at least one
dreaded disease that science has been
able to cure in all its stages, and that is
Catarrh. Hall's Cure is the only posi
tive cure known to the medical frater
nity. Catarrh being a constitutional
disease, requires a constitutional treat
ment. Hall's Catarrh Cure is taken in
ternally, acting directly upon the blood
and mucous surfaces of the system,
thereby destroying the foundation of the
disease, and giving the patient strength
by building up the constitution and as
sisting nature in doing its work. Toe
proprietors have so much faith in its
curative powers, that they offer One
Hundred Dollars for any case that it

last Saturday that the reply was so satis
factory that the government had aban
doned its threatened action against Nica
ragua is explained by the fact that the
-decision of the foreign office last week
has been revised after consultation bet

"Perhaps you would not think so, but
a very large proportion of the diseases
in New York comes from carlessnes
about catching cold,"says,,Dr. Cyrus Ed
son. "It is such a simple thing and so
common that very few people, unless it
is a case of pneumonia, pay any atten
ion to the cold. New York is one of
the healthiest places on the Atlantic
Coast and yet there are a great many
cases of catarrh and consumption which
have their origin in this neglect of the
simplest precaution of every day fife.
The most sensible advice is, when you
have one get rid of it as soon as possible.
By all means do not neglect it." Dr. Ed
