looked-for removal of Governor Height
today assumed the semblance of reality
This morning a telegram' was received
from Secretary Wilson by E. F. Kellner,
in which Knellner was asked if he would
accept the governorship, Kellner is a
wealthy and prominent merchant, the
president of the chamber of commerce.
and a strong democrat. He is not iden
ti fieri with any of the warring demo
cratic members of the legislature. It is
understood he has signified bis willing'
ness to accept by telegraph.
