Two notori ous characters, William Denby and Thomas Brown, dug through the county jail here yesterday and scaled a big board fence around the jail grounds. Doll, a prosperous rancher and merchant; his son, 21 years old, and. bis wife, were murderously assaulted by Mexicans near their ranch on the Aravalpa, Gorham county, last evening.
