"Oh, dear," exclaimed the lady in
grenadine with pilt trimmings, ''it's

"Yes, indeed," ecstatically rejoined
the lady in white organdie with pale
blue flowers wrought in the fabric. "It
was getting almost insupportable."
A pause of one-sixteenth of a second
ensued.

The lady in grenadine was gazing fix
