A dispatch from Hood Uiver to the
Telegram says :
The T'nion Pacific nwrnine freight
train was delayed three hours miles
cast of here this moriiincr by a landslide.
The encine ran into the slide and three
irniximon were injured by jumping.
These were Joseph Wilson, fireman,
right hand and le? cut and face
scratched; John Christians, engineer,
leg sprained; Glendenning. conductor,
bruised about the legs. The engine was
not derailed, and, the engineer shutting
off the steam before jumping, the train
was broucht to a stop without any seri
ous damace except that the engine was
siiehtly disabled.
