Lincoln, Nob,, Aug. 1. Gov. Crounso
and Warden Keenier of the Htate peni
tentiary held n consultation thin after
noon over tln urv parole law, which
goes into effect today. Tlie warden in
formed the governor that when the now
law goes into effect there will be in tho
neighborhood of 11)0 convicts entitled to
parole within the discretion of the gov
ernor. Those convicts have made rec
ords for good conduct while in tho peni
tentiary, are industrious, and many of
them masters of trades which would
enable them to make a livinc. Many of
them have families dependent upon
them, and there are good reasons for the
belief that they would make good citi
zens. Speaking of tho now law to tho llee
correspondent this evening Governor
Crounse stated that, while he looked
upon it with a great deal of favor, ho
should proceed very slowly in putting it
into effect. He has been in correspond
ence with the authorities in Minnesota,
Pennsylvania and New York, where
similar laws arc in force. In Minnesota,
however, said the governor, the law is
not as broad as the new Nebraska law,
while in tho two latter states mentioned
the law applied more especially to the
reformatory, rather than to the penal
institution.

experience is well worth remembering.
He says: "Last summer I had a very

every known remedy, none givinc relief.
Chamberlain's Colic, Cholera and Diar

I purchased a bottle and received almost
immediate relief. I continued to Uhe

The success of Mrs. Annie M.. Beam,
of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, in the
treatment of diarrhiwi in her children
(Will undoubtedly be of interest to many
miothers. She says: "I spent several
weeks in Johnstown, Pa., after the great
ilood, on account of my husband being
employed there. We had several chil
dren with us, two ot whom took the
diarrhu'a very badly. I got some of
Chamberlain's Colic, Cholern, and
iDiarrhcea Kemedv from Rev. Mr. Chap

of several cases where it was equally

and cheerfully recommend it." 25 and
