PRINCESS MARIE LOUISE.
Young Lady ivho Is to Marry Fer
dinand of Bulgaria.
The coming marriage of Prince Fer
dinand of Bulgaria and Princess
Marie Louise of Bourbon excites much
interest abroad. The princess, who in
all probability will be a queen some
day, recently ceieDraiea me vwenty
third anniversary of her birth. She is
the eldest daughter of the duke of
Parma, who, with his family, has lived
at Schloss Schwarzau, in Lower Aus
tria, for the last four years. The
princess is noted among her relatives
and friends for her striking resemblance
to the famous duchess of Berry, the
mother of Count de Chambord. A
portrait of the duchess in her youth,
preserved at Frohsdorf , could well pass
Talking of patent medicines you
know the old prejudice. And the doc
tors some of them are between yon and
ns. They would like you to think that
what's cured thousands won't cure you.
You'd believe in patent medicines if
they didn't profess to care everything
and so, between the experiments of doc
tors, and the experiments of patent
medicines that are sold only because
there's money in the "stuff," you lose
faith in everything. And yon can't
always tell the prescription that cures
by what you read in the papers. So,
perhaps, there's no better way to sell a
remedy, than to tell the truth about it
and take the risk of its doing just what
it professes to do. That's what the
World's Dispensary Medical Association,
of Buffalo. N. Y., does with Dr. Pierce's
Golden Medical Discovery and Dr.
Pierce's Favorite Prescription. If they
don't do what their malters say they'll
do you get your money back.

PRINCESS MARIE LOUISE OF BOURBON.
for that of the young bride were it not
lor the difference in costume. She has
the same great blue eyes and the char
acteristic Bourbon nose which was a
prominent feature of the duchess.
Princess Marie is a clever young
woman and takes an active interest in
all that happens in the worlds of litera
ture, science, politics and art. She is
an artist of no mean talent; is a lin
guist, commanding a half-dozen lan
jruages; is witty, and a good and enter
taining talker. She is proud of her
voice, which is lovely and soft in speak
ing and of good soprano quality in sing
ing. For many years the princess has been
in charge of an English governess, Miss
Mary Fraser, who has become with the
passasre of years so popular with the
members of the family that she has
been promoted to the rank of lady-in-
waiting. The princess is so attached to
Iter that she will probably take her to
Sofia when she goes there to share the
throne of Bulgaria.
The bride has been brought up in a
simple fashion, as her parents are averse
to undue pomp and formality. She will
win the hearts, it is firmly believed, of
the gallant Bulgarians, who longed,
when Prince Alexander was their ruler,
to see a princess at his side.

Persons who are subject to attacks of

should always keep the Remedy at hand,
