The professor made no coinuient, and

The Quickest Way to Cure a Cold.
Do you wish to know the quickest way
to cure a cold? We will tell you. To
cure a cold quickly, nt must be treated
before the cold has become settled in the
system. The first symptoms of a cold
is a dry, loud cough and sneezing. The
cough "is soon followed by watery ex
pectoration and the sneezing by a pro
iuse watery discharge from the nose. In
severe cases there is a thin white coating
on tho tongne. - What to do? It is only
necessary to take Chamberlain's Cough
Remedy in double does every hour.
That will greatly lessen the severity of
the cold and in many vases will effectu
ally counteract it, and cure what would
have been a severe cold within .one or
two days time. Try it and be convinced

t&eitruel After SCTen Taow
Abont aeron years ago the village of
Torost City, Pa., vras excited over the
mysterious diBapperrance of William
Doolittla. One morning William left
the house to buy some meat for dinner.
During tbe forenoon the meat was
brought to the house by tho butcher,
but William failed to appear when din
ner time arrived, iloutlis went by, but
no traco of him could be found. Every
one thought that he had been foully
'Jealt with.
Saturday afternoon Doolittte arrived
in Canondale, after an absence of over
seven years. His mind had become de
ranged. The past was a blank to him.
except at two or three intervals, when
be could for a short time remember
something of his house and family. Four
years ago he found himself in Omaha,
and then for tbe first time in three yean
remembered his name and that he had
left his home in Forest City to buy some
meat for dinner. He-could not recall
anything that occurred after he bought
the meat. His wife and two children,
who live in Canondale, greeted him as
one from the dead. He left Omaha four
years ago, and has been on the road
working his way homeward ever since.

How m Morocco Town Receiretl Its Nama.
One of the best known towns in Mo

circumstance. The place is Tetnan,
which has abont 20.000 inhabitants, and
is noted for its tiiaunfactnre of a large
variety of Moroccan wares. Centuries
ago the inhabitants were in deadly fear
of the wild Berber tribes, who inhabited
the Er Ktf mountains. They kept a
watchman npon a lofty minaret, and
whenever be saw indications of ap

Has been popular with smokers everywhere for over twenty-five years.
It is Just as Good Now as Ever.
Its Flavor, Fragrance and Purity have contributed largely to the
growing popularity which pipe smoking enjoys. Pipe smoking is'
growing in favor because finer, sweeter and better tobacco can be bad
