Many hard woods of superior color and grain may be greatly improved by treatment. The graining or marking of the wood is always a beautiful feature, and it can be greatly unproved and ac centuated, if faint, by giving tho entire piece one coat of raw oil, and then with a camel's hair brush going over the vari ous lines -and veinings several times.
