The Quickest Way to Cure a Cold.
Do you wish to know the quickest way
to cure a cold? We will tell you. To
enre a cold quickly, it must be treated
before the cold has become settled in the
system. The first symptoms of a cold
is a dry, loud cough and sneezing. The
eongh 'is soon followed by watery ex
pectoration and the sneezing by a pro-fai-e
watery discharge from the nose. In
severe cases there is a thin white coating
en the tongue. What to do? It is only
necessary to take Chamberlain's Cough
Remedy in double does every hour.
That will greatly lessen the severity of
the cold and in many cases will effectu
ally counteract it, and cure what would
have been a severe cold within one or
two days time. Try it and be convinced

From the Daily Kbykillb, Whateom, Wash.
"T. C. Burnett, the democratic candi

at Clearbrook. He had all the symp
toms of Asiatic cholera, and for an hour
or two it was feared he would die. They
finallv gave him adoweof Chamberlain's
Colic! Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy,
which revived him until a physician ar
. rived." That is precisely what the
manufacturers of that medicine recom

ent in this country next summer this
preparation will be in great demand be
sause it can always be depended upon.

Crae mail delivery system was inaugu

ter is received at the poetoffioe daily, but
no streets or numbers axe given. The
letter carriers simply take a bag of mail
and march through the town blowing a
whistle. .
The people torn oat and the carrier
allows them to examine, the letters. In
this way he delivers to owners. The
people are honest enough, and will not
take a letter that does- not belong to
them. The postofnee authorities at Wash

of delivery, and it is likely that the free
delivery system will be discontinued.

Speaking of patent- medicines, the
