- of Morris Brothers, Inc., was increased

name of the Morris. Brothers corpora

had no financial' interest in.the iiew

-Morris was one of the principals in
' the. organization of the OregronWaier
Power: Railway company in 1903 and
built .a 'electric railway line to Eatacada
and reorganised the bankrupt Oregon
City line .built by Steele Brothers and
now' owned by ; the Portland Railway.
Light Power company -He atBo 'or-'
ganized. the light and power company
at Roseburg, the Rogue River Water
company at Grants Pass and financed
similar-- companies at Centralia and
Chehalis. Wash.
.' Among other. enterprises founded by
Mortis were; the Birmingham, Eneley
& Bessemer railway of Birmingham.
Ala. ; the Tliacaloosa Railway Util
ities' company of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and
the Birmingham & Gulf- Railway &
Navigation Company of the same state.
He also financed and constructed sev
eral, electrical lines in. New Jersey and"

Morris. h 1914,-married Miss Emily
Clark of New.T,-k. He is survived
by his wifd, one brother in Philadelphia
and a sister, Miss Edda Morris, whose
