J. and girls 1 Christmas is' a tlm of
happiness and expeotation, .Santa
Claus rules over a veritable fairyland
of trees aerlitter with lighted pandlea
and sparkling; pretties, -with- funny ani
mals, lovely doll babies and eoodies
to bring Joy to the hearts of hla little
subjects.
For -weeks past "each little mnd has
been busy with thoughts of this day
of days, which after all is the children's
heyday, and strict, obedience has been
accorded fond parents over the thought
that Kris Kringle only -rewards good
little bovs and girls. Tonight after the
stockings .are hung, dreams fantastic
and queer will come, and long before
the elders are awake little exploring
feet will patter about on a tour of dis
covery. . So many lovely affairs are planned
this week for the many students who
are home for the holiday season, danc
ing parties, teas and luncheons galore
