The British steamer Canadian Ob
server from Ocean Falls. B. C, is dis
charging paper pulp at Astoria, having
arrived there late Sunday night.
The Chillicothe, which has been un
dergoing alterations and repairs here
for- the past six weeks, was moved to
Astoria Sunday, where she is tied up
at pier No. 2, port docks.
The schooner Oregon Pine has been
moved temporarily to the Columbia
City dolphins. The vessel loaded a
part cargo at St. Helens, but will fin-j
ish lodaing elsewhere in deeper water.
The hull of toe 'Daisy Grey, in tow
of the Red Stack Sea Lion tug. was
taken to sea Sunday morning, en route
to San Francisco, iwhere machinery
will be installed in time to permit the
veiwel entering the coastwise lumber
trade before the end of January.
With 400 tons of outbound cargo on
board the Xawsco liner Cold Harbor
sailed Sunday for Boston and way
ports.
