Gift Buyers
In order to speed ujf the selling
of the ' Quarter Million Dollar
Stock of Jewelry, the F. Fried
lander Company decided last
nigftf to bill all Jewelry pur
chased in November as of Janu
ary tst, nineteen twenty three.
In an advertisement which ap
peared on Sunday, it was stated
that "All sales were Cash." This
was in error on the part of a
too enthusiastic "ad man." The
F. Friedlander Company does not
expect all sales to.be for cash.
On the contrary, it is willing to
open "Charge Accounts" for all
who may desire the convenience,
and who are, of coarse, respon
sible. This Jnew "charge" pol
icy, coupled with the sale prices
now in effect, is expected to have
a marked effect on the volume of
business. Portland people can"
now buy at sale prices and take
t reasonable time to pay. Adv.
