The tax conservation commission 19 the cause of all the extra work, - fof the commission some few weeks ago made a little request for information along with the budget that would show the actual contemplated use of everjf dollar asked for. and also for the ac tual contemplated use of every dol lar in the $4,000,000 available 'through the bond issue and tax levy. It asked for a detailed building program to go along with the budget, giving, all the buildings to,,be constructed, their lo cation, size and cost. The budget already covers 20 pages of schedules, besides about as much again of supplemental information. "We are almost writing a history,'" said Fulton, "and telling our heeds, in words as well as In figures." "Nothing like it. has ever been done before," commented Grout. "In addi tion, to conforming to the request of the tax conservation commission we are also working under a new budget system promulgated by the bureau of education, department of interior, which is a complete reorganisation of the whole .budget system."
