Of Martin Harrah, Missing Auto Man Pendleton, Sept. 16 No trace been found of Martin , Harrah. -well known fruit grower and garage man of the east end of the county, residing near the state line, who baa not been seen since he left home about 9 o'clock Thursday morning by truck, headed for Walla Walla. It is believed he has met' with foul play, for he was in good health. Hia family life was pleasant and his financial affairs seem to be in good condition. Harrah is about 39 years old and a former student at Whitman college and , at Oregon Agricultural college, where he was well known as a foot ball star. Search for him in Walla Walla, and other places where he may have been has so far been without avail.. More than 30 summer homesites at Diamond lake will be placed on the market within a few days. Assistant District Forester C J. Buck, in charge of recreation of the United States' for est service, announced Saturday. Buck: has just returned from a visit to the lakes of the Oregon Skyline from Seen and .Benson lakes : Just off the Mo Ken si e highway to Diamond lake. This was especially true of Diamond lake and Elk lake. , ; "At Diamond lake 4000 persons were camped this year." said Buck. There have been boats on the lake, and lots of fishing and swimming. The resort man is now building his main build ing. The foundation is laid and peeled logs will be used for the walls. The building will be 100 feet long. A store Is already In operation. - : "At Elk lake the resort keeper is Just putting, up his building, but he has been erecting tent bouses all summer. The girls camp at Elk lake was a wonderful success.
