Gentlemen: Last Veeek I noticed that my net latvn was in need of
mowing and watering and, hat'ing no hose or lawn mower, I thought
I might make a trade with a rug and two birds I had for a hose or
lawnmower, so I advertised in ihe Swap column of The Sunday Jour
nal. The morning I advertised a fine lady came over and I made a
deal with her, trading the rug for a dandy fireless cooker which we
have always wanted. The same day a man and his wife came and 1
made a swap with them, trading the birds for a dandy lawnmower.
I figure I got a regular kick out of the ad as I am not well and I don I
get around much to meet people, and I sure met some fine people
through your ad. The man and lady took my mother and I cut for
a long ride in their car and also to- their beautiful home in lrvington.
I also interested this man in a Utile invention of mine and it may mean
a lot of money for me in the end.
